Watching the Super Bowl With Sophistication
Too often, when we heard the word “sports bar;” we think “fist fights, cheap plastic pitchers of bad beer and crappy 25 cent wings, crowds five deep at the bar.”
The Brickyard is not one of those cavernous sports bars whose capacity rivals Madison Square Garden. We don’t want large, rambunctious crowds; just a few dozen fans who are passionate about the game, their drink, and their food.
We’re the midtown New York sports bar for grown-ups.
For the Super Bowl, we’re doing something different than most other bars in New York City. Sure, like everyone else, we’ll have a bevy of large screen TVs turned up loud, but we’re adding something else: a healthy dose of sophistication.
For those who call us early enough to reserve a table, this starts with your own seat, at a table, and waiter service. For everyone at a table, and those who choose at the bar, we’re also offering a special for a fixed price of $65: for the duration of the game, you can enjoy 20 of our craft beers, house wines and well drinks, as well as an ample supply of a wide array of passed hors d’ouvres, including the best chicken wings in NYC.
Those sitting or standing at the bar are welcome to enjoy our usual menu and drink selections at regular prices.
Call us today at 212-767-0077 to reserve your table.
Come enjoy the lead-up to the Big Game, which will include Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton singing “America the Beautiful” and Kelly Clarkson singing “The Star Spangled Banner.” Like everything with the Super Bowl, these performances are watched closely and ranked against the all-time greats. Most observers currently rate Whitney Houston’s 1991 rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner as the best ever at a Super Bowl.
Welcome to the best sports bar in midtown Manhattan for grown-ups.
