Watch the Preakness at Brickyard
On Saturday, May 19, Kentucky Derby winner I’ll Have Another will try to win yet again in the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown. In his way stands a full field of 11 horses, including:
- Bodemeister, who ran 2nd in the Derby after setting a hot pace,
- Went the Day Well, a fast closing fourth in the Derby after a troubled trip, and
- Creative Cause, who lost a close one to I’ll Have Another in the Santa Anita Derby and ran fifth in the Kentucky Derby, and may be ready to produce a top effort that could put him in the picture at nice odds.
It can be difficult to find NYC bars showing the Preakness Stakes. With nine giant screens, Brickyard is one of the very best bars in New York City to watch the Preakness. We will be serving $5 Black-eyed Susans all day. We’ll be serving our regular menu, including our bar menu.
